Sognate una vacanza in un ambiente familiare, in cui riscoprire il gusto delle cose semplici, la bellezza di una natura selvaggia e incontaminata, i sapori inimitabili della cucina tradizionale? L’azienda agrituristica “Nuraghe Mannu” è proprio quello che fa per voi.L’Agriturismo dispone di un servizio di ristorazione apertura semestrale da aprile a ottobre su prenotazione. Oltre all’accogliente sala, ricavata dalla ristrutturazione di un vecchio edificio rurale, si può pranzare o cenare sulla spaziosa veranda circondata dal verde.

 Il nostro menu tradizionale comprende, a seconda della disponibilità dei prodotti, antipasti di salumi, coratella, insalata di testine, “tataliu”, primi piatti di pasta fresca con sugo e formaggio, il saporito spezzatino di capra, gli arrosti di porcetto e capretto alla brace, preparati da Mario secondo la tradizione dorgalese… e poi ancora le nostre speciali “seadas” ripiene di ricotta, zucchero e limone, o quelle più tipiche con formaggio caprino e miele.

If you are dreaming of a holiday in a homely atmosphere, where you can recover the taste of simple things, the beauty of  wild incontaminated nature, the real flavours of traditional cooking, our farm is just what you are dreaming of.
Mario, the owner of the farm, has here his main occupation all the year round: the goat and pig breeding, from which the products we cook come: cheese, milk, meat and salami. Who stays here can often meet the flock grazing around… On the west slope of the mountain you can arrive at the fertile valley of “Oddoene”, where we grow our vineyard and olive-grove, that give us our tipical wine, the “Cannonau”, the olive-oil and the excellent pickled olives for our hors-d’oeuvres. The grape working produces also the “grappa”, which is the main ingredient of the “Mirto” and “Limoncino” liqueurs. At the farm you can buy our products: goat cheese, “Cannonau” red wine, “Mirto” liqueur, “Grappa” and olive-oil.
Our Agriturismo has a restaurant service on reservation, where you can have lunch or dinner sitting in our comfortable hall, made out of an old country building, or in the spacious veranda surrounded with green. Our traditional menu includes, in accordance with the availability of the products, hors-d’oeuvres with salami, pork pluck, pork head salad, “tataliu” – a typical roast brochette of kid chitterlings- , home made pasta with tomato sauce and cheese, the tasty goat stew, the broiled little pig and kid, made by Mario according to the old Sardinian tradition… And then our special “seadas”, fried sweets filled with “ricotta” cheese, sugar and lemon, or the traditional “seadas” with goat cheese and honey. The average price is € 19,00 per person, and you can get personal menus on request. Groups can get a free person every 25 people. Children from 3 to 10 years pay half price.
The Rooms
The Agriturismo has 4 double rooms with private bathroom, recently built.
Camping
 The Agriturismo has 5 tent places, for 15 guests at the most. They can use 2 toilets with warm showers.
You can find us at 3 km from Cala Gonone, a nice little touristic town in the middle of the Gulf of Orosei, on the east coast of Sardinia. Our farms stays at only 500 m from the famous “Nuraghe Mannu”, an archaeological site founded circa 1500 B.C.. and then dominated by the Romans, that is one of the biggest coast villages in Sardinia.

“Nuraghe Mannu” has been excavated by the archaeologists since 1996, and it strikes the visitors’ eyes and hearts for its wanderfully panoramic position on the Gulf. You can visit it with a guide from April till September.

If you love the sea, you can sail from the port of Cala Gonone towards the celebrated Bue Marino Grottoes and the little coves hidden like gems in the rough coast: Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu are gorgeous to spend a day on.

If you prefer the mountain, there is the possibility to make excursions by jeep, horse or mountain bike to discover the “Supramonte”. It is easy to arrive to our farm: on the provincial road 26 (SP 26), at 1 km about from Cala Gonone, you can find the crossroads with the sign of the Agriturismo, that is 2 km from the fork.
